ECM-NY is principally made up of three divisions:

1. To supply commercial Doors, Hardware and Plumbing Fixtures and Fitting to all levels of construction, Union and non-Union throughout the Metropolitan Area, specifically in Manhattan and Brooklyn. We are known for our excellent hands-on service throughout the duration of a project, as well as our competitive pricing. ADA Lever Conversion Kit:  The Sentinal

This heavy duty kit converts Grade 1 knobs to lever operation on every manufacture's mortise lock. This is the strongest and easiest conversion on the market, and tests at 4 times the strength of any available Grade 1 lever lock.

   The ECM mortise lock conversion kits work on all existing brand mortise locks in all functions: Corbin, Russwin, Sargent, Yale, Best, Arrow, Falcon and Alment.

Our patented lever sets are available at less than half the cost of replacement locksets and trim. They are a complete integrated assembly, combining a lever with an escutcheon, as well as spring-loaded positive stops to prevent lever sag from ever occurring. No removing the mortise lock from the door. No need to change any internal parts or keying system.

A Uniquely Designed Escutcheon


This patented product is not matched by any lock manufacturer of lever escutcheon trim. The escutcheons are a heavy casting 1/2” deep x 2 1/2” wide x 8” long, which have important features built into them including: 

  1. A heavy coil spring which prevents any lever sagging. 

  2. A positive stop which eliminates over torquing of lockset. 

  3. A 1” long shaft bearing to combine with a 1” lever shaft which prevents any chance of tearing out the lever. 

  4. It also guarantees no wobbling of lever operation but instead it gives a matching type rotating action to lever.
